Equipment and Processes
Saw Cutting
Plastic sheet is often supplied in
sizes 48" X 96" or larger. In order to maintain the best
utilization of that sheet material and/or the handling
of it, we most often have to process the sheet into smaller
blank sizes.
Laser Machining 
Over 25 years ago, Exactec pioneered the use of Lasers
in the cutting of plastic sheet materials. Today we remain
the Midwest's largest fabricator specializing in Laser
Cutting Technology. Benefits include:

Edge Quality of finished parts

Routing
Beveled/Shaped edges are no problem
for Exactec. With our routers and a large inventory
of standard tooling, we can satisfy your exact requirements.
Forming - Hot
and Cold Line Bending
Forming plastic is most
often accomplished with properly heated and controlled
wire elements and precise fixturing. However, accuracy,
quality, and consistency is the direct result of
our experienced staff of quality operators. They
will see to it that your bends are exceptional every
time.
Flame Polishing
A Laser cut edge, in most cases,
is of significantly higher quality than a Router or
Saw cut edge, and sufficient for most applications.
However, when nothing short of a "glass edge" is acceptable,
we have the ability to further support your cosmetic
concerns.
Laminating
Laminates are used for a myriad of reasons. Sometimes,
laminates are used simply to protect the surface
of a part from scratching. Other times, they are
used to completely alter the look of a base sheet
of plastic to closely resemble Wood Grain, Metal,
or an endless array of textures and colors.
Solvent Bonding
Beyond the process of
mechanically bonding one part to another with the
use of solvents, Exactec makes sure it is done with
the highest degree of workmanship and quality.
Complete Assembly 
Screws, rivets, tapes, hinges,
locks, bump-ons, extrusions, etc. Exactec can perform whatever
level of assembly and pack-out your project specifications
require.
